'Victims' is about people who were persecuted at the hands of the Apartheid regime - the dawn of democracy in South Africa. Lucky was inspired to talk to the situation that was unfolding in South Africa but it was relevant to the world.

This is the official music video for 'Respect' by Lucky Dube and is the title track of his 13th studio album released in 2006. 'Respec't was Lucky Dube's first album to be released internationally through Warner Brothers and his last original recording before his death in 2007.
At the time of it's release, Lucky said that he called the album Respect because that is what the world needs most at that point (even more so today). He said you can live with people even if you don’t believe in their beliefs, or even if you don’t like what they like; as long as you have respect for them.
